Just a short note to Thank-you and your team for an outstanding end product in “Our Home” we are very happy with the quality of finish and the smooth transition for the handover. We can see your tradesmen/contractors pride their work. We must make mention of two staff in particular- Adam and Xiana. Adam in overseeing the high quality finish and quick rectification of some minor issues at handover. Xiana was outstanding managing all our changes and organising our appointments. Honestly, we did expect some mix ups as we did make a fair few changes though-out the build. But to our surprise and Xiana’s credit, it was all incorporated seamlessly. Of coarse there were others behind the scenes, and our gratitude goes out to them as well. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

After coming to Australia over five years ago, leaving not only our family and friends but our dream home! We embarked upon the journey of becoming serial renters (tenants) during this time we moved five times each time was a different living experience, from acreage to water front. Finally after finding an available vacant plot in an area we liked we proceeded to embark on a journey of building our very own home here in Australia.
Finding the right builder, well let me tell you from experience we were very privileged to find this straight up with Dave Roberts and his team at D J Roberts. The whole experience from design to hand over, was no less than perfection. Dave Roberts himself not only extended his professional courtesy but his extensive building knowledge throughout the entire process delivering us design, quality that was affordable. Myself and my partner were always met with the greatest respect and professional courtesy, weather it was from the office staff Liesa and the team or Adam, Benny and the guys on site, we cant thank you enough for helping us achieve our first family home here in Australia.
We would most definitely recommend Dave and his team to anyone looking for a reputable builder with the experience, knowledge and customer care.

I feel the need to send you this email regarding your exceptional staff & subcontractors I have dealt with so far in the construction process for my house. Starting with your office staff, I normally get Renee & then Xiana on the phone. Both girls are always friendly, professional & very helpful with any issues or questions I have. If they cannot answer my question straight away they will find out & return my call to give me the information. Dan, the onsite foreman for my house is also always happy to talk regarding any questions I have. He will return calls & let me know what is going on in the build process which is a relief considering that I’m in customer service also & sometimes those return calls never happen.
I have also had the pleasure of dealing with Gary Heslop, the electrician who helped with sorting my electrical plan for lights etc.. his attitude, experience & helpful advice made it easier to go through what I must say is very nerve-racking as i have never built before. The plumber, who’s name escapes me at the moment, was fantastic. He was working through your firm until the GFC struck & had to go back to being a butcher. When I turned up on site he had already plumbed my Ensuite. I mentioned to him that I was hoping to have the tap for the shower on the side of the wall rather than behind the shower head to be able to turn on the water before getting into the shower. His response, “ it’s your house mate so if that’s where you would like the tap then that’s where it will go”. No fuss, no drama, he removed the lines & the tap fixture & set it up exactly where I wanted it set.
I have had a number of people regale their story to me regarding the horrors they experienced when building so to have such a hassle free time so far is a calming relief & a testament to your professionalism. So once again, I would like to thank both of you & your staff for making this time a pleasant one. I am telling everyone about my build that I am dealing with a company with many years’ experience who are making this whole process seem easy for a first time owner.
